Day Respite
Welcome
Day Respite
The Respite service, offers meals, and also provides transport to and from the centre and occasionally day trips to other centres, picnics / BBQ’s, fishing or other outings that suit the occasion,(culturally based depending on suitability of activities) Aims of We Care “We Care” aims to provide the development of friendships through bringing clients together as a group and allowing them to foster and develop social interaction with other aged and disabled clients, staff and volunteers, to provide a friendly home environment in which they feel comfortable and safe - Staff and Volunteers try especially hard to make their day very special. “We Care” maintains a role model to assist aged, frail and disabled, at all times focusing on their indigenous needs, and ensuring individual needs and requirements are adequately met, without conflict of their beliefs and with their environment).  The need to love and be loved often clashes with the need to achieve and experience freedom with reconciliation. Who can get help Home care is aimed to help people who are older, frail or have a disability. There are many people who request home care but priority is given to people who need help the most, and can not get help from family or friends, or cannot make other arrangement. .
